Hey guys, I bought this "third-hand" tailsection to use on the trackbike. I had planned on just throwing it on with the black "rattle-can" paintjob (see posts below.....) But it looks so good I decided to paint the bike this color combo. The second owner had bought it off Ebay to use as a project that he decided against and didn't do the paint work so is not sure of the color--he thinks it may be from the 749 Dark. It's a Satin finish on the black or dark gray and a gloss finish on the white plate area.
The Ducati Performance vinyl sticker seems to be cleared with the satin clear.
Looking closely at the edge between the colors shows that the white was sprayed first and the black sprayed over it.
