I installed the unit with Velcro to the vertical part of the tray under the tail.
I still have room for my air pump kit and tool roll.

Here's a quick video I did of the operation of the Visi-tec brake light modulator. I may have got some info wrong, so please check the website....www.visi-tec.com for another video.

Here's the Visi-tec brake light flasher unit for a 2006 R1200RT.
Notice it's compact size.

These are the 6 wires that need to be attached. The paired black and white wires plug into the back of the brake light bulbs, replacing the Brown (grd.) and striped (feed) original wires. The Red and Black straight spaded wires of the Visi-tec plug into one feed of the brake lights--the other feed can be left off.
